What on earth does this sound like to you? Have you had anything similar?

I am feeling dreadful at the moment - yesterday and today particularly - and I have absolutely no idea what it is and whether to be worried or not.

I'm nearly 24 weeks and feel more like 41 - like there just isn't enough room in my body to contain everything. It's making me lightheaded and nauseous. I have tummy ache and upper back and abdominal ache and headache. I feel cold (my hands are freezing) and completely exhausted. Also ache around the base of my back.

Is it a bug? UTI? Is it terrible trapped wind? Is it something more sinister? I honestly have no idea but have been struggling to form a sentence today, I'm in so much discomfort.

Yesterday it was like this all day. Today I felt much better this morning (just like baby was stretching) but by this afternoon I've been REALLY struggling.

Can anyone relate to these symptoms??

I'd see your midwife for a once over. Several things could be causing it, from UTI and anaemia to blood pressure issues and a virus. But get checked out.

Thanks ShowofHands. I hate stuff like this, feel so rough that I thought about ringing the 24 hour number in my notes, but if it's trapped wind I'll feel like a right idiot. And I really really don't want to have to go anywhere tonight. Equally don't want to take any risks. bleurgh.
