Ok ladies, need your help!

I'm 4+3 and not feeling sick yet! DH works away mon, tues, wed night and before I was pregnant I had lazy dinners on these evenings, whatever was the quickest to put in the oven after work. Now I know I need to be a better behaved with my eating habits in the week so I need some quick (preferably cheap) pregnancy friendly meals for one?! Any ideas?! We eat really well when DH is home, it is just hard to muster up the inspiration or energy to just cook for me.

Thanks!!!

Get a slow cooker. Cook in batches and freeze. Nutritious home made meals that u just have to stick in the oven and maybe add veg

You could do
Soups
Chilli
Spag Bol
Beef Casserole
Sausage casseroles
Curries
Shepherds pies

If you've got a wok, stir fries are quick, easy and full of veg.

As melliebobs said, I swear by my slow cooker, I prepare all our family meals in the morning when I have more energy (30 weeks preg DC4) and switch on when needed.

And as you work you can get ones with timers on so it will be ready when you get in from work! Perfect!

And if you get into the habit of splitting batches and freezing it will help when you have baby as you will have stocked up with home made meals ready when you are exhausted from looking after a newborn!

Congrats btw! Grin

I actually have a slow cooker sat in its box in the garage because we don't have enough room for it in the kitchen but I shall find room and get that going. Thanks for the ideas!
