Not in the UK and late at night here... Am a serial whinger but, oh my God, I am going to cry. 39 + something or other and have had exactly four hours sleep since Sunday night. Now am in the spare room with the cookie jar trying not to cry out of sheer frustration.

Have tried:
Benadryl - super for sleepiness but made my legs so restless was like I was dancing horizontally.
Small glass of Wine - indigestion like the fires of Mordor
Daytime naps - just not happening. Sleepless.

If I DO fall asleep it's for 20 minutes or so...

Then awake again.

SO fed up.

I really feel for you, ive been there and its horrible, i tried almost everything and the only thing i found was either doing as much in the day as i could (so come bed time i was knackered), or having a bath before bed time and i bought some back remedy spray, i used to be in bed and id spray it a couple of times on my tongue and drift right off, if i ever woke in the night which did happen id just spray it again and it would do the same.

It one of the herbs in it that makes you sleep and it 100% safe to have in pregnancy, it was in fact my doctor who told me about it, costs around £7 in the uk so maybe have a look in chemists or online to see if you can get it.

amazon.com seem to have it (assuming I've got the right thing).

Sympathies, OP. I remember late-pregnancy insomnia well; I slept better with a newborn than in late pregnancy.

Yep thats the one, definately worth a try, even if you feel a bit stressed out when the baby finally gets here it helps calm you down a bit too, good luck x
