15wks - just feel fat not pregnant

This is my second dc but so far at 15 weeks not feeling pregnant all. I barely get any symptoms anyway, but after an mmc in September, and continued bleeding from a sub chorionic heamatoma since 7 weeks I can't stop thinking the worst. All was ok at 12 week scan and seeing mw next week for blood results but just hoped someone might be able to help me think something positive.

Haven't felt any movement yet myself and remember with dd feeling her at 16 weeks. Is this normal? How soon can a mw hear a heartbeat?

If something has gone wrong can you still have an mmc this late on?

Guess I'm feeling a bit paranoid!

Sorry about your mmc. No advice really, just I am about the same. I'm 16 weeks. Feel fat rather than pregnant, have had horrendous morning sickness. Have had lots of mc's in past and it clouds rationality. I thought I had felt some movement bit barely any yesterday, so now I am paranoid. Have a mw appt this afternoon, so hopefully she will sonor the heartbeat and that will reassure me. Stressing doesn't help though; just trying to stay chilled and positive Smile

15 weeks would be really early to feel anything I think.

With dc1 i felt him at 17 weeks which I was told was very early.

All my friends have felt dc2 much later.

I can't remember- when does the midwife listen to the feotal heartbeat? Is that soon for you/ Hopefully that will reassure.

It's a difficult time from teh 12 week scan to when you feel movement as you still don't feel pregnant. Hopefully you will feel movement soon to reassure yourself.

Missing - I hope your mw appt goes ok today. Let me know if the mw checked for heartbeat?

The rational side of my brain is not stressed and can say all the right things and tell me to stop being so daft and what will be, will be.

That doesn't stop the other half of my brain thinking about it, especially at 2 in the morning.

Pregnancy with dd was a breeze, sailed the whole way through. I think you're right a mc has changed my outlook on things

Another one 15 weeks pregnant after several miscarriages (no children as yet) here! Feeling exactly the same. My nausea has gone and I must have found it quite reassuring in retrospect. I only feel fat with big boobs. They say that's how we should feel at this stage so am just hoping it's normal!

Also I did a bit of a naughty thing last week and bought a doppler. I say naughty as some people advise against it as it can make you worry more if you can't find the heartbeat, however the four times I've used it I've managed to find it, it takes a good few minutes though. It's been brilliantly reassuring between scans and I fully recommend one. Mine is the angel sounds one for about 20 quid on amazon.

Hope we all feel and look properly pregnant (and not just like we ate all the pies) soon.

hey girls!
just thought i would let you know that mw did listen for heartbeat on sonar and we heard it bouncing away Grin
everything else ok 'cept for continuing morning sickness, but that's good too, right?!

Missing - that's great news. I shall be asking my mw to check as well, just to make sure.......

I felt exactly the same with both of my pregnancies - it was sort of a lull between the 12 week and 20 week scan. Nasty symptoms had gone and I felt fine. It was like I had imagined the whole thing, I did wonder if they find the heartbeat at the 16 week app just to reassure you that you are really pregnant! It won't be long now until you mix these Halycon days of pregnancy. I am 27 weeks now and would love not to feel pregnant, roll on beginning of May!
