Stretch marks down legs??

Oh help :(

I'm 22 weeks, have a few stretch marks down my sides but non on the front of bump. Just got out of the bath and noticed very big bright red stretch marks on the inside of my legs near my knees. They also seem to be spreading down towards the bottom of my legs too.

Are these normal? Did anyone get them there?

I was worried about my stomach as that's where everyone seems to have them. Will they be like 'normal' stretch marks and stay but slowly fade or will they magically dissapear.

Im stupidly really upset about them too. At least my stomachs hid in summer.

I got these in my first pg, just behind the knees. They faded like all stretch marks do, but are still there - although probably only really noticeable by me. I was gutted as always thought of my legs as being my best feature. I got over it though. Smile

I've got these too :( Im 35+1, was religiously applying cocoa butter from 4 weeks to upper body and didn't even think about this! I'd start putting some on them now as I haven't had anymore since finding these. Also, did you have a hot bath? I always come out looking like a beetroot so they may not be as bad as they look, have a peek in the morning.

Plus side, my DP seems baffled over where I have my stretch marks and thinks they just look like 'skin marks' so they may not be as bad as you think!

Good luck Smile

Thank you for being nice and replying so quick. I think I was close to tears.

I was the same coco butter and baby bump butter from about 9 weeks to belly, sides and the top of my thighs. Never, ever did I think about my knees!

Yeah I guess they may not be so bright in the morning (ever hopeful).

Well I shall be adding my legs down to my ankles to the routine from now on .

Yep I got them there! And under my bump (the angriest red things you've ever seen) and the tops of my thighs. Annoying I got most of them in the last month of my pregnancy. I'm happy to say that a year on they've faded to pretty much the same colour as the rest of me. The ones on my tummy are a bit wrinkly nut other than that they're not bad at all. I actually took a video of them and I look back at that time fondly now.

Stretch marks are evidence that you have cuddled your precious baby 9 months long :o
