If my baby weighs an estimated 4lbs 13oz at 33 weeks...

Any idea what she might weigh when she's born? Obviously that's assuming she'll be born on her due date in 7 weeks time! I know there's no fool proof way of knowing but I'd like a rough idea of what to expect.

Usually they put on half a pound a week in the last four weeks. Before that it's a bit less so probably 7.5- 8lbs.

Thank you! I had about 8.5 in my head so that sounds about right.

My DS was estimated at 5lbs 2oz at 32+ weeks (yes, that's big!) He was born at 38.5 weeks, weighing 8lbs 6oz. Apparently that was a normal rate if growth between the scan and the birth.

So I would estimate about 8lbs at 40 weeks for yours?
