How will I know when to test?

Booooring question, I know, it's asked all the time.... sorry, bear with me.

ttc for about six weeks, still b/f ds, periods not returned. Did the "deed" last night and I think it might have hit the spot so to speak. I have an incredibly strong metallic taste in my mouth (first sign with previous pregnancies).

Am tempted to go and do a test, but don't want to waste my money if it is too soon - but how long should I wait? No point waiting for AF after all!

Btw, I am a regular but have changed my name because you are all going to think I am a loon and I don't want to get over-excited at this juncture.

Over to you... ta muchly

I can't believe that name wasn't taken already! I put it in as a joke! (might keep it actually )

a fortnight! Hope I can hang on that long.

Never thought I'd get pg whilst b/f (yes, I know you can in theory, but just thought it was a long shot). I still expected to be ttc in July!

now you see why I changed my name, I can waffle on anonymously....

I was going to say a fortnight but I have read that HCG can be detected after a week.

Invest in some clearblue digitals.

Good luck

I got a postitive test after 10 days. Good luck -However I'm quite sure you would get no pregnancy signs until at least implatation at 5 days!

Miaou · 20/01/2006 19:05

Ah, hadn't thought of that. Oh well, maybe it was the time before last.

Miaou · 20/01/2006 19:05
