DD1 has told me that she has developed 2 deep stretch marks on her pubic bone area. She is 14 weeks into her second pregnancy at the age of 36.No marks during her first.Any ideas? Is this normal, they don't hurt but do itch.Should she use Bio Oil or any other stuff?Any help gratefully received.Thank you.Mx.

There is another thread on here very recent about whether there is anything you can do about stretch marks suggest you read it as there are loads of responsess
They are totally normal, loads of women get them, I have tonnes. Bio oil is good, but they fade with time after pregnancy and go silvery. It's not really a big deal.

Not stretch marks-baby lines!!!Grin afraid there's very little evidence for the prevention of them. They do fade after pregnancy and every person is different, some are lucky to have none others will have many. Bio oil and moisturiser etc are good for keeping skin soft and supple but again arguable whether they help fade baby lines. Nothing will get rid of them completely. They should b something to b proud of Smile
