Yes.

Trickle · 28/01/2012 20:49

Not exactly - only allowed if there are no other children in the household 16 and under, so if you have other children but are a NRP, you other children are all over 16, they are in care or you have lost a child then you will still qualify.

Dozeyland · 28/01/2012 20:51

NRP?

I have a 15mo. so i dont think i do now! :(

Surely you still have all your baby equipment then?

Trickle · 28/01/2012 20:56

No I don't think you would qualify now - None Resident Parent

Freegle - and if you don't mind the christian connection Life, Life are fab, don't care about your religion or circumstances - they don't even have a branch in my area but I had very little and they got me a nearly new pram and a moses basket.

Charity shopd are really good too.

Dozeyland · 28/01/2012 21:21

I looked this up the other day was also surprised to see the health in pregnancy thing has been stopped.
Do the trust fund voucher things still operate?

RitaMorgan · 28/01/2012 21:23

Do you have a sling - could just use a sling for the baby and buggy for toddler.

Methe · 28/01/2012 21:24

Inside for an accident?

In hospital?

Dozeyland · 28/01/2012 21:27

Serving time as a result of a very tragic and accidental RTA

I do have a sling, but i dont think its suitable from birth? i'll look..

I have lost my CTF vouchers for DD (born in 2010) and will look into it now..

Get a second hand one from eBay or a charity shop.

fuckityfuckfuckfuck · 28/01/2012 21:32

CTF can't be touched til they're 18 iirc though, so it's not lik eyou can access that money. If you didn';t choose where to put it, it will have been invested for you, they'll have written to you to say where it's been put. I agree with charity shops btw, this baby will be mostly clothed in second hand clothes, wrapped in secondhand blankets and pushed in a second hand pram. It's remarkably easy to budget for really when you need so little.

baabaapinksheep · 28/01/2012 21:42

Who's DP??

Dozeyland · 28/01/2012 21:59

Darling partner (Acronym :))

FutureNannyOgg · 28/01/2012 22:26

Slight tangent, but I lost my CTF voucher (DS was august 10) and recently got a letter telling me that as I hadn't used it, they had set up his fund for him. I didn't realise they did that.

planetpotty · 28/01/2012 22:35

Yup I didn't action my vouchers in time and when I rang them (a year later) they informed me that every child has the money in their name and an acct had been opened for him Smile phew. They just needed our CB number and was all sorted in an hour and now I pay in regularly.

DD does not have it though as it stopped last year Sad will just have to open our own.

baabaapinksheep · 29/01/2012 14:30

I know what DP means, you said 'her DP' was just wondering who's DP you were referring to?

Dozeyland · 29/01/2012 15:05

oh! it was a typo, it was meant to say MY dp!
