Abdominal pain - 31 weeks - constipation?

Hi, I'm 31 weeks and for the past two days have been getting very sharp, stabbing pains in my abdomen. It's worse when I lie down, or sit for too long - gets better when moving about a little. The pain is quite sporadic, it comes and goes. I'm on iron supplements and have been a little constipated, but not severely. This feels similar to constipation pain, but just way more intense. I was actually doubled over crying this morning from it! But it's eased off now.

The only option for getting checked out today is to go to Triage at the hospital labour ward, and I'd rather not spend the entire day there if this is just constipation.

It's my first pregnancy that has gotten beyond 12 weeks so I don't really know what normal and what's not. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Didn't want to leave your post unanswered. Are you feeling better? Could it be wind? It can be mega painful & similar to constipation.

No advice but congratulations on the pregnancy. Smile
