Hi ladies, I'm looking for some advice. I'm 39+1 weeks. I went to hospital on Thursday evening after not feeling my baby move for most of the day. They hooked me up to a moniter and said that although baby seems 'sleepy' he had a good heartbeat etc. They booked me in for a scan on Friday and said that the blood flow through the cord was good and nothing to worry about. When I discussed the results with one of the midwives she said as this was the second time I'd been concerned about movements to moniter it over the weekend, and if I'm still worried to call them and they would induce me or offer me a sweep. Just wanting some advice really off people who have been through the same thing. I've been feeling movements today although nowhere near as much as normal. I know he is running out of room in there but its worried me at the dramatic change. What do you reccomend guys? Should I call back today or wait until tomorrow and when do you think they would get me in?

Thanks x

P.s sorry if grammer and spelling is naff, I'm on my phone

I would call back and say how worried you are. When it comes to children I like to be overcautious.

Good luck x

If you are concerned then call right now, or just head straight over to the hospital - if it's a dramatic change like you say then there is no harm in getting checked out again.

Don't leave it until tomorrow, just in case. You're full term, if there's a problem at this stage then baby is definitely better out than in.
