Can't sleep due to cervix discomfort (38+6)

So I have a new symptom to add to all my aches and pains! My cervix is very sensitive and it's uncomfortable even when lying down, quite painful if baby moves or if I'm sitting upright. Anyone experienced this? Is it a sign of effacement or dilation? Oh forgot to say that sometimes I can feel pressure on cervix when I do a wee.

I've been having it a bit it's got worse the closer to my due date now i'm 3 days over and spend all day jumping when baby touches it! Got a sweep on wednesday which left me very very sensitive and 10 min sex leaves me feeling like i've been at it all night, not exactly good news but the longer i go the worse it gets and i am dialated so i'm guessing it's a good sign.

oh ment to say try sleeping with pillows under your bum to keep baby away from anything down there, also take a couple of paracetamol before bed.

I know...it's so uncomfortable. Feels like scraping\grazing on an open wound. I don't even though if it's doing anything to ripen my cervix...I would be very depressed if it didn't. I've been reading your other thread and I do hope that your LO decides to appear soon x
