NCT Refresher - anyone done one?

I didn't do NCT first time round, but am considering doing there refresher course for my second child. Mainly, I'm thinking it would be nice for the new baby if I knew similar aged babies to get together with...this being the main thing I got out of ante-natal classes first time round.

So...has anyone done a class and found it beneficial?

i did nhs only first time, then nct refresher second time and found it really useful. as well as discussing our first labours and concerns / queries we had about second ones, there was also stuff about how your first child might react to the new baby etc. also i found the nct approach quite different in some respects and the teacher gave me particularly helpful advice when i found out i would need an induction.

I did it for the same reason as you (did nhs first time round). Found the class very useful and it inspired me to train as an antenatal teacher! But must be honest and say that our group didn't meet up after the first 3 months or so - we've only kept in touch via Facebook.
