I'm pregnant with my third. DH and I gave all of our baby/toddler clothes away earlier in the year so we have to buy everything again.

I don't want to buy too much. Does this list sound ok or do you think it's not enough:

10 0-3 short sleeved bodysuits
6 0-3 sleepsuits (all I plan on dressing the baby in for the first few months)
6 handknitted cardigans (the only thing I kept)
Packet of socks

thanks

I would get some newborn bits to, DS was 3 months old before he came close to fitting into 0-3

whether its enough depends on how sicky the baby is and how much you want to do washing, but you can always send someone out for more if needed!

If you are only going to dress the baby in sleeping then you don't needs socks, surely?

I'd get a few more sleepsuits, have three month old dd, am speaking from experience.

i needed socks and sleepsuits!

her little feet were always freezing and she needed to have heel pricks to check her for sugar levels (i had gest diabetes) before they would let us out of hospital and her little feet didnt bleed well if they were cold.

ok will add a few more bits. I think socks are needed - planning on using a sling so I have my hands free for my other children so I think an extra layer on the feet is good.
