Leaked a little bit - how do I know if it's wee or something bad?

Any advice gratefully received please -

Just had a sense of a little leak and didn't really feel like a needed the loo, so I checked and there's a little wet patch in my knickers (TMI but needs must).

Googled 'leaking clear fluid at 24 weeks pregnant' and am now panicking about horror stories.

I can feel the baby kicking away quite a lot at the mo.

Could I just have wee'd myself a little bit (I actually hope so!) without realising it, or should I go to the hospital?!

Have you sniffed it? You'll be able to tell if it's wee or something else by the smell I think.

Could be anything, probably wee or discharge. If you continue to lose 'liquid' then call your MW, if it is a one off dribble then don't worry! :)

Sames been happening to me, keep getting checked but doctor said I'm not, although not had ultrasound or that sample colour change thing, I'm 27+1 and been having them for a while, I could of just been toilet and still happens, sometimes I'm soaked and others I'm not. I have smelt it and smells sweet, I did sneeze the other day and felt something come out, but I knew straight away igt was wee, very distinctive smell wee is, so I know what I've been leaking isn't wee, but all I can say is just keep a record, and smell it, if you have more then get checked, leaking amniotic fluid will keep leaking. Sorry ifor spelling! On my phone.maybe put a pad on? X

Had the same thing last week, small patches (sorry) went to the hospital and they said it was just discharge even though it is clear. Been having everyday since.

But if your worried just go to your hospital and get checked always better to be safe.

How is your pelvic floor? I had a chest infection at about 20w (am 30w now) and weed (wee-ed?) myself rather more often than I'd like to admit as the coughing was straining it. Couldn't feel as I was doing it, so could have mistaken it for amniotic fluid...
It hasn't happened since, so my pelvic floor isnt completely knackered yet... Grin

'scuse tmi but I think my knickers do smell of wee now, and I haven't had anymore leaks. Do you think I should go to the dr's tomorrow anyway?

May as well, they can rule out a UTI which can be symptomless except for this sort of 'leaking'.
It is quite common to have increased watery discharge though, which can come out in what feels like 'gushes' when you change position.
