Your thread title doesn't give much away, you might want to contact MNHQ to get them to put something in there.

As I understand it, measuring 2cm either way of what you should is normal - so at 28 weeks (which is near enough what you are), you can measure anywhere between 26 and 30cm without concern.

Your dating scan at 12 weeks would have told you if you were further along than you thought, and if somehow it was missed then, it would have then thrown up odd measurements at your 20w scan.

Wishful thinking maybe? I keep wishing i was further along! I heard the heartbeat at 10 weeks on my doppler too so I don't think thats unusual.

The fact that she can't get your BP is nothing to do with her not having children, and as it's really important that it's checked, I'd consider complaining and requesting that you are allocated a new midwife.

You posted about this the other day. There really isn't anything you can find out until your scan. The scan will show the measurements accurately.

It won't be a question of your being further along than you think though. The dates will have come from your dating scan. The dating scan is accurate for dates as there is little to no variation in foetus size at that time. As you get later on in pregnancy there are differences in size between babies so the size of the baby is not a reflection of gestation.

You just need to wait for the scan. This will show if your baby is on the big side or not. Even if the baby is a little big that doens't mean there is anything wrong, sizes of babies vary and some will always be bigger than others.
