Baby engaged?

Hi all.

I am 30 weeks and realise it is normally to early for the wee one to be thinking about coming out but I've been having pains in my hips and my bumps lower than it has been. Last night I was unable to lean forward without feeling a lot if pressure on my back passage (sorry TMI). If he did engage will he come back up? This is our first so have no idea what's going on.

What do you think?

Sounds a bit early to have engaged. Could he not just have turned to a new position? That will change the shape of your bump and he could just be pressing on a nerve down there.
