Hi mums what colour should our discharge be? I have always had creamy that goes a bit yellow in pantaloonies, tonight I have noticed it is a little darker, only a very tiny bit (just changed pants to keep a panicked eye on it) but it is strawy/orangey colour although only a very weeny bit. was feeling so good and positive all day, now a little panic!

Discharge changes during pregnancy and varies wildly from woman to woman.

I wouldn't worry unless it either smells (possibly infection) or it looks greenish or looks bloody.

If you have any concerns at all, call your midwife. It is what they are there for :)

thanks fliss I know I can call mw but i do seem to have one unsure thing after another and don't want to be a complete pain.. after much pant checking it seems to have stopped but did look a little like old browny blood yesterday which worried my pants off.. maybe i'll give her a ring anyway! is 1st pregnancy always such a worry, does it get any easier?

This is my second and I have taken pretty much no notice of the fact that I am pregnant at all. No time to worry with an errant toddler on the loose! First time I was a bit more concerned, but I tend not to be a worrier anyway.
