Swollen feet, bigger socks?

Hi there just about 26 weeks gone but my body is desperately swollen, especially my feet.
Regular socks are becoming to tight (litterally imprinted on my ankles at the end of the day) and I welcome any suggestions when it comes to...socks. I need wider ones!
Are men's socks wider? or should I see if a shop like Evans sells "larger" socks? Putting my feet up during the day is a bit of a non starter as I have to stand quite a bit in my job.
Many thanks.

DH's socks are definitely wider than mine. Keep an eye on the swelling, some is normal in the fingers and ankles but if your face suddenly swells then it might be worth calling the MW to get your BP checked as oedema in the face can be a sign of PE.

Calzedonia do some good socks without elastic at the top, very comfy.
Alternatively have you considered support socks? I got mine from Boob (bloody awful name for a Swedish maternity company)- they were £12 a pair Shock but worth every penny.

Thank you for the PE flag Flisspaps. I got myself checked today, all fine. Looking into purchase of Ugg style boots, they should be wide enough although not entirely my style...

Another vote for the calzedonia socks, they're a life saver. I'm down to a pair of boots that I can wear comfortably Confused but at 37+3 I don't think that I'm going to bother to buy another pair.

I found mens socks are a bit wider at the top. Alternatively, just cut a nick in the elastic of your existing socks.

I am using support socks, not the funkuest if looks but they "contain" the swelling. Especially if you're on your feet all day.
