I woke up today feeling quite dizzy and a little sort of disorientated and woozy.
I feel fie apart from that baby is moving well and no other problems. I am on labetalol for high blood pressure and have a machine at home which showed my blood pressure to be 140/92 but this is not that outside normal for me.
I am really unsure what to do if i call up they will tell me to go in but I feel a bit silly if its just one of those pregnancy things you know?
I have been resting so far this morning and had somethign to eat but i still feel quite off. Would it be best to wait or call up the day unit?

I would go in for a check .....

Go & get checked! Have you had your iron levels done lately? Could be anemia? Or your tablets. Hope you feel better soon.

Ring your antenatal clinic and ask for advice. I would be inclined to go and get checked out.

I was also on Labetalol when I was pregant but never felt dizzy. I'm sure it's something of nothing but get it checked anyway. At least you'll stop worrying Smile

Let us know how you get on.

well that was a pretty quick visit - blood pressure and wee were ok ad baby seems ok.
I am pleased but the verdict was "medication side effects" which has made me feel quite tearful and upset for some reason, i just keep imagining feeling like this for the next god knows how many weeks :(
Dh works from home (for himself) so ive just come in and told him i am lying down so he is seeing to the kids - feelings of guilt washing over me for leaving them with him when he is supposed to be working but i really do feel like im abotu to just fall over or something.
Now i just need to fight the urge to order a huge pizza (i crave pizza when sad for some odd reason).

I'm sure your DH can cope for a bit longer until LO arrives! You look after you and the baby. Not too long to go now.
