I'm only 6weeks + 3 and I feel dreadful. I felt fine throughtout my first pregnancy so the constant waves of nausea and dizziness are a bit of a shock! I don't think I can cope for another month and a half of this. I just want to go home and lie down. Is anyone else out there feeling the same...?

Oh poor you (in a lucky sort of way ). I was like this too. Do your work know that you are pg, can they help you at all?

Make sure you have a nibble and sip water very often - keep a packet of plain biscuits or some oatcakes next to you at all times. That was the only thing that kept me going. Also, though this may seem weird, try going out of doors for a fairly brisk wwalk at some point. I always felt better after a visit to the postroom, though getting there in the first place felt like a nightmare.

Hi Minko, I felt like this too its awful isn't it? This is my first pregnancy and I wondered what on earth I had got myself into!! I started feeling better at 14-15 wks. I did learn to control it better though in those horrible weeks, try drinking water or very diluted cold lemon squash through a straw (don't know why it made a difference but it did!!) frequently, get into a fixed sleep pattern ( I was going to bed at 8pm!) and nibble constantly even though you really don't feel like it- you do feel worse if you don't eat and drink.
Also, don't give in to it and take to your bed it doesn't make it stop -getting out and about does help, do a little bit then rest then get going again. I'm going on and on a bit but I really feel for you! I really hope you start to feel better soon. Sarah x
