Had a mc in October 11, pg again and now 8+3, bend doing ok, but constantly checking tissue, every pain I google, 8 weeks is supposedly a bit crampy anyway so hoping its that.
Sunday night had sex and had tiny bit of pink when wiped on mon morning,
This morning wiped bit of brown I can only describe discharge.
I have been relaxed during this pregnancy, and am a positive person, but feel so negative at the moment that I worry it will make something negative happen.
I really want this baby and can honestly say that I could never go through this again.
I am 41 so time is running out also,
Any one else had anything similar x

Congratulations :)

I think once you've had a mc the "innocence" goes and you will spend all future pregnancies doing exactly what you are doing :(
I have just had a mmc and while I really want to be pregnant again I am also dreading it as I know I will do nothing but worry the whole time.
It's easy to say relax and try not to worry but not so easy to actually do it!

What is your early pregnancy unit like? I am lucky to have 2 near me - one is a stickler for the rules and won't do 'reassurance scans' but the other is a little more flexible and often will. Might be worth asking as seeing a heartbeat will help put your mind at rest. Or pay for a private scan?

I think a bit of discharge is considered normal (especially after sex) but if you're worried give your midwife or EPU a call.

Can I suggest you step away from Dr Google - he always seems to come up with the worst case scenarios.

i have had 4 miscarriages, 1 live birth and one currently in the oven (22w). It never gets easier. You worry about every twinge and ache but in all honestly, unless you have been diagnosed with a condition and are in treatment for it there is very little you can do except accept that your are rolling the dice and hope for the best. Even at 41 the odds are still very much in your favor for a successful pregnancy.

I know it is hard but do try and relax.

I have not even been to dr,s yet as I don't want to tempt fate also spent 2 weeks at EPU last mc, having scan after scan and blood tests every 48 hours for 2 weeks.
Have took day off work and just lying in bed trying to relax, what will be will be eh! Thank you both x

Had a MC in Oct too, and am now 5+2 and am going through the same thing. I don't believe any amount of negative thinking can make something happen, but I hate feeling this way.

Every single time I go to the toilet I worry I'm going to see blood and I feel constantly stressed by it. I have a 22 month old DS and I had 2 heavy bleeds when I was pregnant with him (11 weeks & 13 weeks - everything was okay though), so I'm actually expecting to see blood at some point. I'm not sure my heart will be able to take it.

I'm trying to be positive though - there's nothing else I can do - but it's very hard. I wish I had some great advice for you (and me!). I just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone :)

That sounds like a plan :)

I'm 24 weeks, after 3 missed MCs, and I've checked the loo paper every time since I got the positive test result back in September. So I know where you're coming from.

How far on were you when you had the MC? For me, things always stopped progressing at about 6 weeks so this time when I had a private scan at 8 and a bit weeks I felt like I was getting a useful answer.

Hi, I was 5 weeks so I feel good that I have reached 8+3 but am scared io have scan in case empty again,

Hi I know exactly how you feel we lost a baby in April and fell again pretty quickly in June im now nearly 32wks and I still constantly check for spots of blood everytime I go to the loo which feels like im going every 15 mins, I worry about everything my new thing to worry about is if I dont feel the baby move has something went wrong, at times I feel like im going nuts not only stressing myself out but my poor husband too, with 8wks left to go I doubt my feelings will change until I have my lil bundle in my arms. I wish all of you mummys to be the very best in your pregnancy and hope its as stress free as it can possibly be :)
