Go so slowly!!

I haven't been to the doctors yet as am only 5 weeks, the time between now and my scan seems to be so long. So long to worry. So long to try and pretend you're giving up drink for fun. So long to worry. Did I say that already?!

We've all got coughs and colds so aren't sleeping. Thank goodness I'm not up-chucking yet.
Although that worries me also!

Moan over!

Congrats blondie, I found out at 3 weeks, and it has flown to 8, anxious now as all the scans and drs start, enjoy before the panic begins x

blondiep14 · 24/01/2012 12:33

Thanks Kellzi. I'm trying!
I don't have many symptoms so I think that worries me as well. With the other 2 I felt really sick and with DS1 my boobs were agony!
I guess all that could happen yet anyway...

Supposed to be going for a big night out Sat so some friends will definitely twig as I won't be drinking. Although, if this cold carries on I won't be anywhere except bed!

Hi!

My first few weeks really dragged, I didn't suffer from any sickness either which worried me - all I had was sore boobs and 'irregular' bowels! It went really fast from 12-18 though and now it is dragging again because I'm 12 days away from my 20 week scan.... I think it goes in fits and starts, especially if like me you don't really have any symptoms and an over active imagination!

Hope the time goes quickly for you and congratulations!

Xx

I am soooo with you on this. It's the problem with finding out so early!! I'm about 4 weeks and spend the whole time thinking it could go either way :-s

blondiep14 · 24/01/2012 13:29

Thanks MillyV.
I think you so desperately want to get to the 'safer' side of things that's what makes it go slowly.
And then of course the last bit seems to drag too!

Good luck to you TGODuke, fingers crossed we get to the 12 week mark all ok.

First little one, I'm also 4 weeks...
An trying not to:
A) read too much about giving birth just yet!!
B) tell everyone I meet on the street.
C) WORRY!

I've figured I cannot do anything to speed this up into the "safe zone" so just trying not to think about it. Difficult!

Sending prayers to all the Early Days out there :)

Smile you too!

DangerMousey · 24/01/2012 20:58

My first one too - think I am about 5 weeks. Got appointment with GP tomorrow. Keep swinging from terror to excitement every 5 mins.

Feel very hormonal and keep crying/yelling at DH for no reason :-/

Definitely something strange going on with my bowels too - feel constipated and very gassy at the same time. And my wee smells funny! Sorry, TMI!

WoollyHead · 24/01/2012 21:03

Yes, it goes so slowly, all the moreso for seeling so fucking nauseous all the time and now puking every day Sad. I've got to 12 weeks now so have heard the HB and had a booking in appointment, which is reassuring, but still just slightly fatter than usual and feeling like death rather than any kind of happy blooming. It's my 4th and neither of my last 2 pregnancies were like this. It is all coming flooding back to me now just how tough DC1's pregnancy was Sad. They're all different.

Sorry for the moan

I found out at 3 weeks and i am now at 9.

i have had a scan at 6 and a haf weeks (couldnt see much) I have only just started getting morning sickness though :) its not as bad as it was with my 1st. This is my 2nd.

It still seem's ages away till my 12 week scan though.

Pezzina · 26/01/2012 14:35

I think I'm 4 to 5 weeks pregnant. I don't have any symptoms either apart from a strange taste in my mouth. It's hard not to worry. This will be my second child and I swore that I wouldn't worry as much as I did first time round - but that is just impossible! I hope all of our early weeks pass by quickly and uneventfully and we all get to see our tiny beans in our first scans. :)

MsInterpret · 27/01/2012 19:04

This is DC2 for me too. Feels weird to type that!

I'm about 5 weeks which is when I found out last time so now symptom spotting with a vengeance. I have a bit of a morning sicky-feeling but not much and quite tired (what's new?). Think I'm going to go to the doctor's next weekend, all being well.
