morning mums. Yesterday I noticed my knickers were wet in the evening, not happened to me before and was convinced (quite a bit neurotic) that something was wrong... I called the mw unit and they told me probably wee. None in the night and a little this morning but that could be discharge I guess, so am going to monitor it today (keep looking every 10 minutes - neurosis!) does anyone have any experience/advice?

Wear a pad (or panty liner) to catch anything. You can smell it (I know, gross) although I must say that I've been so inured to cat pee which is a lot stronger I couldn't really tell what was human pee. Also look at the colour tell the MW if it is brown/pink. I had something similar around 16 wks the midwife took a look at my pad at my next appt, said it smelled fine, but as it was sort of brownish they sent me to the hospital where they did an "amniquick" which tells in 5 minutes if it is anything important. (it was fine appeared to be a really watery discharge -- although now I have to wear pads constantly as it keeps coming out. Annoying! I had thought at least being pregnant meant freedom from the pads.)
