10 dpo?!? Advice needed please!!

Hiya, been ttc for aaaaaaages! I 'feel' pregnant at the moment but I have become a major symptom spotter so there's a very high chance its all in my head!

I am 10 dpo I think, I tested this morning and got a bfn :( was this too early to test? Did anyone test around this time and still end up with a bfp??

Any advice would be fab.

I tested 5 days before AF was due. Can't remember how many days po that was but bfn. Tested the day AF was due. Bfn. Tested 2 days after AF was due. Bfn. 5 days late a bfp! 36 week now. Just got to remember a lot of the symptoms are the same as AF. As hard as it is try n shut it out of your mind

I got daily BFNs up to 15DPO when I finally got a postive

It took me a few weeks to 'feel' pregnant so don't get too caught up with symptoms if you can possibly help it (I know that's as easy as nailing jelly to a tree)

Oddly enough my boobs always kill me from around 3 days before AF was due so I always knew when it was going to be a no that month :( BUT then the month I finally got my BFP the thing that was confusing me was that my boobs didn't hurt all.

I got a negative about 9dpo, then got really annoyed with myself for obsessing and reading too much into things (I took apart the first response test just to be sure...).

I'd had so many months of symptoms followed by evil AF that I had a word with myself and put it out of my mind. I was about 6 weeks pg and period was two weeks late before I could bring myself to do another test (I had convinced myselg I was having a random cycle). By then the test was very much positive

So, there is always hope! As others have said, try to put it out of your mind for another few days - ignore the symptoms and don't repeat test every day. You'll drive youself nuts and cost yourself a lot of money! Also, the 'symptoms' I had when I was actually in the early days of pregnancy (i.e. period type pains) weren't what I expected the other months when it was BFN, so it is quite hard to predict what is a 'sign' that early on.

I cannot say when I ovulated as I have PCOS and had not had a period since March. Then I had implantation bleeding on 19 August so I was pretty convinced I was pregnant, on 24 August tested negative then positive on 27 August. I am due on 03 May according to scans so must have ovulated around 11 August hence tested positive on dpo15.

I forgot to come back and say...it was too early to test, I'm now 5 weeks! Thanks for all the reassurance xxx

I'm the queen of Peeonastick,
I've convinced myself so many times I've been pregnant that i couldn't give you a number,
iive convinced myself I've had all pregnancy symptoms each and every time i did a test and it showed up bfn.
FOR me- when i conceived both my daughters the BFP came up straight away and roughly when my period was due, and with no real pregnancy symptoms-
if anything period symptoms.
this time i think I'm pregnant as have had 3 +ve tests but I'm spotting.
So my advice is to wait and see-
its horrendous i KNOW, believe me I KNOW,
I've wasted so much money over the years and given myself so many disappointments that i wish i had only waited a few more days and my period would have come and i wouldn't have had the high / low that accompanies being convinced you are pregnant and then taking a test.

I didn't get a BFP till 5 days AFTER AF was due and I'd been using the expensive early test ones. So I wouldn't give up hope. Also I had no symptoms of pregnancy either so try not to wind yourself up with every little symptom/change

hi there i am new to this site need help,
me and my husband have been trying to concieve for 11 yrs and nothing,
i am 6 days late on my period took a pregancy test and it was negative,
havent got any symptoms of pregancy,
well gt mild period pains like i am gonna come on but nowt yet,
i had my last period at the beginning of january and nothing this month,
have been really wet down there(sorry about this)like watter,
was really warm in bed last nite,

cocobaby I tested 2 days before AF was due and got my positive but have heard of people that dont get a bfp until a week after. Good luck xx
