Admittedly I am a nervous wreck who worries about anything and everything but... I am 15 weeks pregnant and have this horrible full feeling in my vagina. I am so paranoid about prolapses etc and seem to have convinced myself that that is what it is. Nothing is poking out (sorry i'm aware this is pretty gross) but it feels like it as massively full inside. It seems to get worse if i'm on my feet a lot and I an aware of it all the time. It's been like this for a week now, I don't have a midwife appointment for another week and don't think I can stand this anxiety til then! Bit nervous about going to doctor in case it's nothing. Has anyone else if this feeling?

Can't say that I've had that feeling, but, just to make you feel better call your midwife. What's the worse that can happen? Her telling you that it's normal? You're pregnant and you're allowed to be anxious Thanks

Yes I had this! It was around the 15-16 weeks. It felt heavy as though something had prolapsed or was falling out. Made me v paranoid as I was being monitored for cervical incompetence at the time.

When I had a feel inside the vaginal wall felt swollen. It didn't hurt but would be worse when I had been on my feet all day.

I put it down to being a result of all the extra blood flow. My bits went really dark purple for a while too around this time. It only lasted a couple of weeks then went.

StripeyZ, it seems like we're in a similar situation! I had a loop excision in Sept 2010 and have been ever so nervous about cervical incompetence, I am booked in at a prem prevention clinic but not until the end of Feb and just feel really worried that something is going to go wrong before then. Have you had your baby now?

I'm 30 weeks now with a very active LO!

I had cervical surgery too & was monitored at the prem clinic. All was fine & they were very reassuring. I did mention the odd vaginal feeling to the doctor but she didn't seem bothered which was good. It was hard not to be paranoid & I rested as much as possible. I felt much better once we'd passed 24 weeks & he was 'viable'.

Hope your pregnancy goes ok. MN has been a life saver for me Smile
