This wasn't morning sickness, was it? (contains TMI)

Am 6 weeks pregnant, first pregnancy. Last night I started feeling very hungry, sick sort of hungry, but we didn't have much food in so I resorted to eating a packet of crisps. At about 7pm I was sick. Presumed it was the beginning of morning sickness so was as happy as you can be about being sick! However, through the night I kept being sick about every hour, until 6 this morning (not a fun night). I'm now feeling better, a bit weak though. I'm drinking squash and haven't risked any food yet.

So I'm assuming this wasn't morning sickness and was more like a tummy bug or something, yes? Please tell me I don't have this to look forward to for the next 6 weeks!

congratulations on your pregnancy Smile
sorry - can't promise you that it wasn't day and night morning sickness. and to be honest it doesn't really sound like a bug, given it started with hunger. stock up on some proper foods so you can grab easy eats and try and keep your blood sugar constant as you might fins that helps

Can't promise anything... am 24 weeks now and in those early weeks was up in the night vomiting sometimes... ah the memories... :)

My all day and night sickness started bang on 6 weeks and stayed for with me until 24 weeks x

I had sickness day and night. I actually found things like crisps and fatty snacks made it so much worse. Maybe try dry food like toast and see if it helps you.

I practically lived off bowls of Aunt bessies oven chips, no vinegar or salt. As dry as could be :)

Hmm-tricky one. When I'm poorly with a bug it more often than not starts with stomach pains that I have easily (and many times) mistaken for hunger.
