I think it's actually quite common, as your organs are so squished your appetite can go completely.

Because I've struggled to gain any weight at all, the MW has advised eating little and often, aiming for soups, smoothies and juices to keep my vitamin levels up.

Yes, because I was ill.
Be careful- it's a slippery slope. You don't feel like eating so you don't eat so you feel wobbly so you don't feel like eating etc etc
I found I had to prescribe myself set meals and at least serve them, if not eat much of them. Sometimes I surprised myself by eating if it was set in front of me.
I lost a bunch of weight and it probably wasn't a great move.

I lost in the 2nd tri and health professionals weren't at all worried - not lost (or gained) in the 3rd though but I've heard it is sthg that can happen then.

I think it all depends on how much you have to lose in the first place, if any at all, and if the baby is healthy.

I lost around three stone in my first pregnancy due to sickness and going off lot's of foods and although there were no major concerns I was advised on what to eat, as I was on the lower end of a healthy weight.
I did Slimming World during my third pregnancy and the midwife was fine with it.
