Chair for Nursery

I posted this in products but it was suggested I might get more responses here.

I am looking for a chair for the nursery - not a rocking chair - but something comfortable for when I am breast feeding etc

Has anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks :)

Oh please do get a rocking chair! My Tutti Bambino gliding chair changing my life, I kid you not. Only got it when we moved DD into her own room & seriously kicked myself for not getting one from birth! Great for dads etc to rock baby to bed on when the BF days are over- DH loves it & it's part of DD's night-time routine still at 16.5 mo.

PS you need the footstool for the full comfort experience. I think they are sold together.

but if you don't want to spend loads of bucks, the Ikea poang chair was ergonomically perfect for me for BFing.

We went to ikea and I sat on a load of chairs to see which one worked! Got an armchair from there. And a rocking chair too but didnt use it much.

I had a rocking chair. I loved it.

The poang chair from ikea comes with a matching footstool. You can get the rocking or non rocking version. The advantage of poangs are the comfy high back and the supportive neck bit.
I've not had my baby yet so don't know what it will be like for b/f ing but intend to put it upstairs in the baby's room for that purpose when the time comes.

I agree the poang is fab although dont have one (well ds has the mini version but we stayed with friends for a while who had the adult version which was lovely when pregnant) I have a glider which we still use for reading time as ds2 sits on our knee to be read to.
