Does higher HCG in early preg = a boy. Apparently it's scientifically known! Therefore early PFB = boy?

If you know the sex did you get an early or "late" BFP? I guess you'd only know this if you are a POASaholic like me :)

I got a PFB 4 days before AF which I would class as early I suppose. Will let you know when we find out the sex!!

I have one DS already but wouldnt know with him as I didn't test until I was already 2 months pregnant... don't ask!

With DS I tested positive two days after my period was due (having tested from a couple of days before).

With DD I tested positive the day before my period was due.

Same as QED, tested positive 4 days after period due with my 2 boys, having tested from day period due. And four days before period due with DD!

Now 29 weeks pregnant with DC4, and tested very strong 2 days before period due,don't know what we are having this time!

But potentially could it not mean you conceived earlier in your cycle, so when the egg was further up the tube, and therefore it's more likely its a girl? Something about the XX sperm being built for endurance vs XY being built for speed??

HCG is higher if the baby is a girl

I conceived 24th July and got BFP 7th August. So 14 days exactly. I had a boy.

When i got my BFP with DS i was two weeks late (approx 6w pg), and i ovulate early! DD2 was the same, DD1 i was 4ish weeks when i got my BFP. According to my scans with her i concieved the day i got my last period.

Ah... Tested Friday, AF due the next Monday- very clear BFP.
And he's a Boy.

I tested 8days before due and had a BFP, will report back in about 18 weeks whether that means it is a girl!

Doesn't when you get a BFP depend on when the egg actually implants? Some people implant early (like 6dpo) some later (like 11dpo). Surely HCG levels would then depend on how long the egg had been attached? There's such a massive range of 'normal' HCG that you can get a BFP on a home test when it's just over the sensitivity threshold, or massively over. Therefore I'm not sure if there can be anything in the theory about when you test positive...you'd have to really scientifically know when the egg actually attached and started producing HCG to compare levels between sexes, wouldn't you?
