Hi, I'm 33+3 and a few days ago I went into hospital to get checked because of reduced movements. I had recently had severe itching on my hands and feet so had a blood test done, they also did two more whilst I was in hospital, but I've also been suffering from orange coloured wee, pale stools, abdominal pains and the occasional lower back pain and headaches. My bloods came back to say that I have a mild case of cholestasis so I have to have more tests for that on tuesday. A doctor came and spoke to me and mentioned pre-eclampsia but didn't say anything else about it, just carried on saying about the cholestasis (they didn't really say alot about anything), so now I'm left worrying after reading the pre-eclampsia symptoms on the net. I always thought the main symptom was swollen hands and feet so never thought anything of it. But then surely when I mentioned it to one of the doctors/midwives they would of been concerend about it and said something?? Do you think I should wait untill tuesday and then mention something then when I see them or should I ring up tomorrow and stress my concerns?? None of the midwives seem to be that concerned about anything I've said when I was in hospital so I don't know if it's just me over worrying. My first pregnancy was perfect, I had no worries or pains up untill labour, but this one I seem to be worrying an awful lot the last couple of weeks :(
