Hi all

I may be being paranoid but thought I'd get some advice...I'm 38 weeks exactly and have just got back from walking the dog on an hour or so long walk. I've been back half an hour and when I got up off the sofa to go to the loo I got a shooting pain in my right side, kind of between my ribs and my belly button. The pain lasted 5 seconds or so, just while I walked up the stairs and then eased off. This happened half an hour ago and since I've had lots of baby movements but a niggling ache almost in my right side. Should I be concerned? I can't put my finger on it but something just feels different.

I'm probably over reacting, just need some reassurance

I imagine you've pulled something but monitor baby movements...and maybe go in. Hard tummy can be Braxton hicks.

It's probably one of those things, but if it's still happening, and you haven't yet, ring you MW for some reassurance.
