hi jtn, you might want to take a look at the childbirth forum: there are loads of vbac topics there, and mums who've had succesful vbacs. i am one of them: had a succesful vbac in december.
one thing you can do, is make sure you get yourself a team of consultants with a positive attitude towards vbac and a realistic view about your pregnancy, and read up on the subject yourself, so you know what to expect when the time comes. also nearer to your due date write a good birth plan, that also covers the 'in case you do need another section'.
anyway, right now it is most important that you enjoy your pregnancy. please don't let nerves about the birth ruin it!

I had a successful VBAC two year ago after very traumatic first birth. Despite recieving loads of support on mumsnet i didn't realise how stressed and scared I was till I started to go into labour. My stress definitely stopped me progressing - however I had a fab midwife (by luck) and she made the difference between the joyful birth I had and another c-section.

My advice get yourself a private midwife or doula who you can get to know, talk to about your previous experiences and who you trust. That really can make a difference.
