Hi, can someone advise me what it can be? Im 37 + 4 and I've had two episodes of very light bright red spotting in my pantyliner. I went to the fetal assessment unit and they checked baby's heartbeat for half an hour than did a swab with the speculum. They did not check for effacement or dilation, just did the swab. Everything seemed fine. Baby's head is al oat fully engaged which surprised me as i thought only 1st baby engages?
Anyway, I don't know what to do now. I've had some more spotting this afternoon and I don't know if I should call the hospital again. Any advice? Thank you.

Meant to say that the head is almost fully engaged and it was this morning that I was assessed at the hospital. Thanks

Yes, call them again. No point in worrying.
