Bump size?

Hello,

I am twenty weeks. I have had three bleeds, lots of pain and been back and firth to hospital for checks. My scan is next week. This is going to sound weird but I feel SMALLER! Isbthat possible? My bleeds were short so I don't think its likely the baby was deprived growth wise. None of the people treating me have said anything to this affect. I got very big very fast was showing beforevtyree months, bigger than with my son. But now I feel not shrunk exactly but like I am sure I should be bigger. I would say I fit a size sixteen waist now. Any reassurance so much appreciated. Have movement and heartbeat by the way.

Could it be that your been very bloated, but what's showing now is "proper" bump?

Perhaps baby has shifted position slightly making you look & feel smaller? I am currently 24 wks & still have the odd day where I feel the same ( although these are getting more infrequent the bigger I get !!)

Im 26 weeks with a tiny bump - however - some days I can feel that the baby has its back right down the front of me, and I look very pregnant. Next day, baby has swung back round to the side, and im flat stomached again.

Maybe its the same for you?

I had the same experience right before my 20 wk scan. I'd wake up in the morning, and I swear, sometimes it seemed like I had a flat stomach! I was still wearing normal clothes. I was also having lots of pain, and not bleeding but leaking--paranoid that it was amniotic fluid, but it turned out not and everything was fine. Only thing that reassured me was that I could still feel movement, so if figured LO was still okay.
