Sterilisers?

Anyone have any experience with electric sterilisers, with ds1 I breastfed for a year and had a microwave one which was great for when I needed it, which wasnt very often. But im thinking I might find it more difficult to breastfeed this time so am being prepared and have been looking at all the sterilisers, are electric ones easier and faster? or is there not much difference? :)

I had an electric one, a travel one for microwave & Milton. The one we stuck with most was the microwave. Seemed easier & more compact.

Agree with shipslady- electric one broke and was bulky so used microwave or milton (If travelling).

Why will you find it more difficult to bf this time?

I just think I might find it harder with having to take ds to school etc where as before I could sit down for an hr with ds at the begining and I dont think ill be able to now with a 5 yr old aswell, im going to try but im being realistic.

Think i'll stick with getting a microwave one then.

Depending on your size of bottle, we liked the boots travel microwave steriliser. However I was still shocked at paying £8 for what effectively was an ice cream box! When visiting the grandparents, I just use one of their Pyrex bowls with a lid. Can't see that it would be much different.
