hello me again have just picked up results from wee test which last time had traces of glucose and + protein, this time I have no glucose but ++ protein. what's going on? have low bp (which was high last week as I think i had sinus infection with headache but now back to 110/60) and no uti symptoms at all. nothing except allot of worry - anyone else?

Hi- my blood pressure today was similar to yours and my Gp said it was perfect blood pressure. Perhaps ask your Gp to send a sample of your urine for an MSU (lab test to see if have uti) as you could have a UTI with no symptoms, which need oral antibiotics to clear (well this was my experience).

Maybe it just wasnt a good sample, was it a mid stream specimen?

hi mums yes i thought it looked lovely and was mid stream..i had had a bit of pain which i put down to ligaments, but perhaps it was a bit of infection? it seems to have gone now the pain so I will go to mw on thursday i think and get it checked. it seems to be one thing after another and all i want to do is cry, seem to be an emotional reck at any sign of things going weird..need a cuddle but other half is feeling poorly!

Ive just got back from my 24 week midwife appointment and for the first time in all my tests i didnt have anything in my wee. But this is the first appointment where i havent had morning sickness for over a week!
So the midwife said that it must have been my morning sickness causing dehydration hense protein/glucose/something else i couldnt read in my note in my wee!

Has your morning sickness been bad?

surfmama · 17/01/2012 18:24

Hi Caudy that's great you must be really pleased! I feel like everything could go wrong at any minute which isn't the best way to go is it, maybe i need a shrink more than a mw! No I did have in the first 3 months, but this has passed now and am drinking tons of water, so no idea. I am sure when I see mw on thursday she will say 'just don't worry' she normally does...

Yeah i was dead worried but loads of things are just normal, they never actually worried about it but i stressed. Its probably nothing but they are keeping an eye on it for you so dont worry until you have to :)
