Hi
I'm around 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby which was unplanned and a surprise but wanted all the same.
I dont know whats up with me but I'm struggling to enjoy it and I'm convinced that something will/has gone wrong before my scan next week.
I feel awful most of the time, always feeling very very sick and tired and didnt go to work today as I was up all night feeling crap! I worry that me stressing will cause a miscarriage or that because this one wasent planned I dont deserve it - lots of silly things really?!

The first trimester is always crap. You fell hellish plus the anxiety of wondering if all is ok. For some it's just hellish.

I'd make an appointment with your mw for a chat. It could help you to talk about it.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, and can confidently tell you that my first trimester of this pregnancy was the longest, most sickly, tiring horrible, nerve-wracking trimester of pregnancy I've ever had! I was sick until 15 weeks, and I didn't start to relax and enjoy it until after my 20 week scan.

A few factors didn't help - having 2 children to look after for starters, and an anterior placenta meaning that I couldn't feel movements as well/early. Also The conviction that I can't be lucky enough to have three healthy pregnancies has stayed throughout, though it was much, much stronger at the beginning.

Look after yourself. Don't feel guilty for calling in sick at work - you need to rest! And good luck!
