ive got a 13yr old daughter, had a natural birth only 4hrs labour and no drugs! and also got a 19month old daughter, but had to have c/section as she was breach, im now 24wks pregnant with baby boy. been told i have a choice of vbac or c/section but strongly adviced to have vbac, witch id like(i think) as i hope to go back to gym asap and recover quicker! but im scared as been told ill be monitored incase of internal bleed from scar, so not sure as c/section was a bit more straghtforward! any advice??x

I had pre-eclampsia at the end of preganancy with my 1st and was induced and did not progress so needed a C-section. I wanted a VBAC the 2nd time.

I was induced at 10 days overdue with my 2nd DS and once again did not progress enough so needed a C-Section again. I did need constant monitoring but as I was induced also had the syntocin drip going. I was managing the contractions if I stood leaning over the bed or sat on a gym ball. I could do all this with the CTG machine on. Even though my recovery was quick following the C-Section it was harder looking after a toddler. I drove after 4 weeks but it was frustrating not being able to!
