36+wks, puffy hands and bulgy veins?

I'm on the home stretch and all has been fine untill now. Last night my hands felt very hot and tingly. Today my normally non-exhistent veins are quite obvious, my hands look a bit puffy and feel tight when I bend my fingers. I know lots of people get puffy ankles, has anyone else had puffy hands? Is it blood pressure and should I worry?

Please contact your midwife/hospital team immediately to get SEEN TODAY! This could be pre-eclampsia and you cannot afford to "wait and see".

You should get it checked out.

For what it's worth I am not pre-eclampsic (lots of checking, very low BP etc etc) and can hardly make a fist as my hands are so swollen and painful. Feet too. Annoying.

Carpel tunnel syndrome?

I rang 2check it out. They said i should get bp checked but not urgent. 2day i have headache and had a nosebleed so think i may call again. Just wish it wasnt sunday as it means a call to hospital. Feel like im fussing.

Yes yes please go! When I was recovering from pre-eclampsia I was still on blood pressure medications and nosebleeds were very common for me. :(

And on the way to the front door, take your rings of if you can.

Thanks all. Just letting u know everythings ok. MW said maybe carpel tunnel but bp was normal. Now have a cold which explains the headache n nose bleed. Still glad i got it checked. Thanks again x
