www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2086039/My-little-miracles-IVF-mother-celebrates-birth-triplets-born-period-years.html

Is it just me or does the Daily mail run these articles with no clue whats going on? Whoever is writing them obviously has no clue about IVF and how common it is to freeze and use embryos. And silly parents to agree to be featured in articles that are not quite true and that are littered with mistakes.
Having had 2 ivf/icsi babies and frozen embryo baby on the way I am just getting really annoyed....

Really pleased that the DM tells us that ICSI ensures that the baby is genetically related to both parents....DOHHHH!

Very pleased for the parents that their treatment worked but no need to ring the DM....

Sorry rant over am just hormonal and getting ANNOYED!!!

Ah yes... I remember the bit where the consultant said to me "And because you're having ICSI you can be confident that Mr Teds is definitely the Dad!"

I agree... it's time to step away... no doubt the comments sections will end up full of comments about how the couple brought ivf on themselves by waiting too long or it's outrageous the NHS paid for this etc. etc. etc... Angry

Its the daily mail, it's shite!

buonasera · 13/01/2012 13:27

How on earth is that news? That's hilarious. We could do them a better story (I did PGD) but then they'd be confused about whether to write it up as "Pioneering technique gives heartbreak couple the family they always dreamed of" or "Frankenstein technology: thin edge of the wedge?"

Sandra2011 · 13/01/2012 13:38

I usually just ignore what Daily Mail says. Most of their stories are bs....

RedBlanket · 13/01/2012 13:48

Woman has 3 babies by IVF is considerably less interesting than the triplets born years apart one they've gone with. They run the same variation of this story every few months. I wonder where they find the people to tell their stories? As startling as I think the birth of my own DCs was I'm fairly certain that no one outside my immediate family( and probably not most of them) are interested.
