Hi

I have had a twinge on my right side under by tummy for weeks. it is mostly prominant when i move in a certain way. like leaning forward when seated. over the last few days it has spread to all across under my tummy. I thought it might be just the growth and stretching of my bump but its very uncomfortable and makes me jolt. i am also feeling very heavy and uncomfortable this wk in my tummy/bump.

if anyone has any thoughts please speak up but i wont appreciate scare tactics hence asking on here and not on facebook lol!!

my sister thinks i should call midwife but i have my second scan next wed so was just going to bring it up then, it is feeling worse now so that why i have posted this

xx

oh my I am 19 weeks this week and today I have pain on left and I feel like I am full of somthing close to popping. makes walking and everything difficult so understand. You could always call mw for a bit of reasurance, that's what I would do.

I've been getting these twinges too and been putting them down various muscles stretching and growing and pulling. Sometimes the pain is so sudden and severe it literally takes my breath away and it goes on to hurt when I move in a certain way. I know what you mean about feeling heavy and uncomfortable - only about 21 more weeks to go!

See what your midwife says though - it's that advice that will ultimately put your mind at ease.

Could be ligaments stretching, could be braxton hicks both are normal and likely to occur more as you get bigger (34 weeks with DC2 and having both). Just mention it at your scan, they will set your mind at rest.

I've had a million random aches and pains throughout my pregnancy i wouldn't worry to much unless your gettin blood with it or it's very very painful. You could pop to see doctor they can let you know what it is and maybe recommend how to ease it.
