I'm a bit of a paranoid android at the moment. I was taking zita west Vitafem along with an extra 50mg of Vitamin B when TTC and also during my first trimester, am now into 2nd tri and looking to just swop or an ordinary pregnancy multi-vitamin (much cheaper, and once a day not 3 times a day) but the likes of Pregnacare have significantly lower levels of the B Vitamins. Is it okay just to swop from one to the other? My body/baby won't be going cold turkey? I read that your body just wees out the excess B Vits as they are water soluble?
Am just petrified I guess as I had a miscarriage last year but don't want to be over-dosing on vits the baby & I don't need! The zita west helpline said it was fine for me to take the conception vits in 1st tri but now i'm well into 2nd tri I need to get a grip and not cling onto them as some kind of safety line!
