Could I be pregnant or am I mad?

My last period started on christmas day, I've never really charted or taken my temperature so not exactly sure of when I ovulate, but I have an iphone app with a general fertile 'window' highlighted based on dates of AF... I sort of used this to concieve my first DD and fell pregnant the first month.

I've been having occasional BD's with DH for the past couple of months in the hopes that it will just happen without much trying, so couldn't really tell you the dates, but 7 days ago and 4 days ago spring to mind...

But now I feel awful, all day yesterday I was light headed, had shooting sort of pains, felt really sick and had such sore boobs that I can only remember feeling when I was pg with DD. I took a test yesterday even though my period isn't due until 24/25 of this month (I think) and BFN. But I feel SO pregnant...

Is this just impossible given the timings? Or do people sometimes ovulate earlier, or get pregnant completely randomly?

You could have been ovulating as early as 4 days ago, so it is absolutely possible but very soon to be getting any symptoms. Having said that my mother insists that she felt pregnant the very next day (tmin mum ) and was right.

On the other hand I have a whole load of symptoms during ovulation (lucky me) so could it be that?

If LMP was 25 December, then if you've got a normal 28 day cycle it's reasonable to assume you were ovulating over the weekend, so absolutely possible.

Sooo... did you do a test yet?

I felt sick (and generally dodgy) literally two days after conception. Got sore boobs about a week after and got a positive ten days after!

I'm due AF today. No sign of her. Have been lightheaded on and off for the last few days, weird cramps every now and then, my boobs are very heavy but not sore iyswim?

I don't want to see a bfn so am waiting a few more days just in case jetlag messed up my cycle. But in the meantime I'd like a room at the funny farm too ;D

Gah... I can't stand this bit. I'll know either way by the weekend but I just can't wait that long!
