when can a heartbeat been seen?

I have a scan tomorrow. Im very, very nervous to say the least. My last pregnancy ended in MC and the previous my beautiful little boy was stillborn.

I will be 7 weeks 1 day, will i see a heartbeat?
please help!

we saw one at just over 6 weeks with DS1, but they did warn us we may not!

Sleeppeacefully I'm so sorry for your losses. I totally understand your nerves - my dd died shortly after she was born in August and I am now 6 weeks pregnant. I'm having an early reassurance scan as well but am waiting until 8 weeks as the consultant said any earlier and they might not be able to see a hb depending on when ovulation/implantation occurred.

There is a lovely gentle thread in Conception entitled Mothers of Angel Babies (sorry can't link am on my phone). You would be very welcome we have all suffered previous losses. Some ladies have had their rainbow babies, others are in various stages of pregnancy and ttc

Congratulations on your pregnancy, sorry to hear the pain youv been through previously I had a scan at 7 weeks and they did see a heartbeat - but I was warned before hand that it wasn't guaranteed, so I wouldn't panic if you don't get one - I'm sure they will just get you back the following week to check.
I really hope everything goes well you deserve a baby. Xxx

Whatevertheweather So sorry for the loss of your daughter, i know what you mean about waiting for 8 weeks, I originally had my scan booked for next week when i would be 8 weeks but its been changed to tomorrow and am thinking that maybe it would be better for me to have it at 8 weeks!

thank you for letting me know about the thread, i will have a look in a mo. Im on the first trimester support group on the SANDS forum which is really helpful as everyone is just as paranoid and scared. It def helps to have people who understand our worries and doesn't pass them off.
