Having a difficult time without DP, and its just not the same cooking now. I mean I do some days but now i'm having already prepared meals, or eating out (not takeaway) having nice lunches but its pricey... I just never have energy to cook especially when it usually goes to waste as i never eat it all.

I know i should be having lots of veggies etc for bump too. the best thing i do is porridge and banana for DD & I every morning without fail, its just snacking/lunch and dinner are my downfall!

My DP is in the army and I'm the same! Cooking is just such an effort for one person, so much easier to wack a pizza in the oven! I try snack on fruit & raisins mixed with sunflower seeds - quick & easy, and stir fry is a good one - again quick & easy when u can't be bothered but want ur bubba to get some good stuff! A soup packed full of veg, smoothies and natural yoghurt with banana, berrys, grapes, apple are my saviours. I def eat better when my partners home I enjoy cooking for 2 and enjoy eating with someone, it's not always easy to do the best for your bubba when he/she's not arrived don't beat yourself up about it. Xxx oh and if ur order a pizza add some spinach to it lol

I know of women who suffered really bad morning sickness and ate almost nothing during their entire pregnancy and their babies were fine so don't beat yourself up too much! I don't have the best diet either, finding the energy and inclination to actually cook is near impossible. Make sure you're taking a good pregnancy vitamin every day to be on the safe side though. I use Pregnacare Plus personally which has a vitamin and omega supplement :)

Don't beat yourself up about it! Baby will be taking everything it needs from you, it will only be your own body that suffers! Grin
