Body Telling Me Pregnant, Test Telling Me Not - Mainly Venting

Ok, so I'm on the pill after DD (2y2m), but had a sick bug approx 4 weeks ago. Timing of D&V means the pill would have been well in my blood stream but I guess there is a tiny chance that as relations were had on day 6 after it might not have been totally effective.

For the last couple of weeks I have had lots of the same symptoms I had the first time (increase discharge (sorry TMI), sore boobs, frequent peeing, extreme fatigue and swollen tummy (I look really pregnant!))

I have taken 2 tests, one about a week or so ago and one today and both are negative but still these symptoms persist.

Also had a little bleed a few days after the night in question, and then a very light withdrawl type bleed at the end of the pill pack. Probably more light than a normal 'light' month.

Any ideas, similar experiences? As I say mainly venting!

I took two tests a few months ago - both negative.. tested again a few days later as I was sure I was pg (not sure why!) and it was a v clear positive within about 2 seconds..

Thanks for replying NYP. Similar situation with DD, but I wasn't on the pill then so much greater possibility. I have the second test of the pack I bought today so I guess will test again next week if still the same.

i took seven tests over 10 days to get positive result, i was determined i was right, but everytime negative .try digital, works out cheaper than rebuying tests, now 28 weeks, guess u know ur own body,good luck

I had that same feeling once. There wasn't much chance I was pregnant, but I just KNEW I was, and tested over and over. In the end, it turned out I must have ovulated about 10 days late, and I finally did get my positive over a week after my first test, and have DD to show for it.

Thanks all, as I say I had a couple of neg tests with DD, the when I tested again about 3 weeks later pos came up before control line! Difference is that time we were consciously not using contraception, and this time I am on the pill with a little slip up.

I guess I will do the other test with fmu tomorrow and see. If still neg and still feeling the same will try digital/First Response next week, which is what I got positive with last time.

Sigh, is all so confusing. If still neg will need to work out what's causing these symptoms!

Also not sure if my mind has got an idea and just run with it, and unsure how I feel either way!

Still negative, prob all in my head!
