I'm due with my first baby girl on 12th April!

So excited, i heard her heartbeat for the first time this morning!

I actually thought my bump was small but it's normal size apparently, hardly got anything but i was a size 18 to start with so mabye that's why!

Feeling good so far i'm just praying she's not late i really want labour to start naturally, don't want a sweep!!!!!

Savannahrose · 09/01/2012 16:36

I'm due on 19th April, but my feeling is that it should be a bit earlier than that (14th?)

This is my second baby. I have a 9 year old DS already. I'm sure I look as I did at term with him. So much more bumpy this time round and baby seems to have really grown and increased it's movements over the past few weeks. We don't know what we're having.

Am getting very excited now Smile

I'm due 30th April with dc6 . I already feel massive but everyone keeps telling me I'm quite small so ??
Im feeling really tired ( cant expect much else with 5 other dcsBlush) and suffering with killer heartburn but it will be worth it in the end Grin

SandyChick · 09/01/2012 17:45

Hi, I'm due April 5th with my 2nd. We have a 4.5 year old ds. It's flying by this time. Apart from being huge and out of breath everything is going smoothly so far. I've had really bad sickness which I was on medication for. Im still being sick of a morning but fine after that. I actually feel like I have some energy now. I'm making the most of ds being at school during the day and trying to relax as come April that will all be a thing of the past Smile

Emsgale · 09/01/2012 18:33

I'm due April 28th with my first a boy who is currently kicking me really hard lol.
heartburn is kicking in for 1-2 days each week - today I discovered worthers originals help with this Grin my only other problem is sore hips. It's not every day, it happens when I'm sleeping or laying on my side on the sofa, seems to be ok when I'm moving about during the day. My bump Is only just starting to look like a baby bump as oppose to a food baby, and my belly button hasn't popped out yet. Think that's it.
Yay lots of April babies on the way - I was one I'm April 10th & I can assure you we are lovely lol.

ChineapplePunk · 11/01/2012 00:43

I'm due on April 25th. It's our first, and we are having a wee boy. :) I'm basically very terrified nervous and excited about almost every aspect of pregnancy and have been using MN on a daily basis. To be fair, I think I have been very lucky. Not had any morning sickness whatsoever, just some nausea in the first 12 weeks, and the dreaded anaemia (on high dosage of iron every day, therefore it's constipation a-go-go). All things considered, feeling not too bad, however bump now starting to feel quite big.

VintageNancy · 11/01/2012 03:08

Hello fellow April-ers! There's a whole thread of us here if you want to join in? I'm due to have my first on April 4th.

Happenstance · 11/01/2012 08:20

April 3rd second baby, I'm tired, probably because i have a toddler to chace around, Sprog is stubbenly breech, has been since 12 weeks :(, and seems to be quite lazy, so send me positive baby turning vibes please. Midwife seems to think it will turn but i decided to get as much info on Csections as i could then at least i'm prepared :(, May try the worthers, at the moment i seem to have constant heartburn, on the plus side not feeling sick and i get to pram shop (was only going to have one Grin so sold pram). getting quite Excited now

Hotpotpie · 12/01/2012 21:27

my first is due April 20th, im shattered but no major bad symptoms so far, also got an anterior placenta so my movements have been pretty few and far between but starting to get more frequent now

Benzer · 12/01/2012 21:31

I'm due my 3rd baby April 8th. We have 2 gorgeous girls age 6 & 4, who are v excited about our new arrival. Don't know sex....am feeling v big, have horrendous vulvular varicosities & feel a lot further on than (almost) 28 weeks! Delighted to be having this little one......

Boomerwang · 13/01/2012 19:44

April 18th apparently. I don't look much bigger but I was a chubby beforehand anyway. I've been feeling her (I guess it's a girl, don't know yet) move around for a few weeks now but the other half only detected it a couple of days ago. I feel fine now. Previously I felt sick, tired, had bad restless legs, insomnia, itching, bloating, constipation of the kind even microlax wouldn't shift, food and smell aversions, low blood pressure and loss of weight.

I have no cravings, my mood has been stable for the most part (thank you happy pills!) I sometimes regret having an extra drink or eating bread a bit late at night but other than that, I feel just fine now, except when the baby moves around I react like someone's scraped their nails down a blackboard, makes me shudder...

April is a happy month isn't it? Spring in full flow, not too hot, nice bright mornings, flights are cheap and Easter was great. A good time to have a baby, I think.

Flisspaps · 13/01/2012 19:46

There is a thread here in the antenatal club section if anyone wants to come over that way.

Flisspaps · 13/01/2012 19:46
