feels like I'm ripping apart

For the past few days I've been getting this ripping/stretching like on a very localized part of my tummy above my belly button on the right hand side when I make any use of (coff, coff) my abdominal muscles (i.e lying down, turning in bed). It goes away pretty quickly and feels like a very superficial pain, as if the skin and muscle are about to rip.
Does this make any sense?

Sounds like round ligament stretching - bloody painful isn't it? It should ease off pretty quickly though. If you're at all worried, get in touch the with MW's for a check-up, they don't mind

I don't know what this is, but I am having it as well. Feels just like tearing, it's a horrible sensation isn't it. Mainly if I'm lifting or pulling something (usually helping ds get undressed, I'll be kneeling in front of him and when I lift my arms to take his t shirt off it feels like I've torn something inside my stomach.) I was told to be more careful as it could be separation of the muscles, but tbh this is my third pregnancy so I think it's probably just an existing problem making itself known unfortunately.

it just feels really odd, because it is so localised! It's like a little square of pain in my belly
