Hiya everyone!
I had the copper coil fitted in early last year it has worked fine until now (kmt). My boyfriend and I have being going out for 3 years. Recently I have been felling really unwell :(. I've been feeling really tired, light headed, dizzy, dry mouth and a rash came up on my hand. I thought it was because of stress I?m a student nurse and on placement so it?s a very busy environment. Anyways my period was late did a pregnancy test two weeks later but it was negative and I came on my period 26 of dec. All my symptoms have come back and worst and now I have diarrhoea:(.
5th of jan I started bleeding again but very light I was shocked and scared bcoz my period finished ages ago so I decided to go to queens hospital in Romford yesterday with da hubby gave them all my symptoms nurse did my blood pressure which was sky high did a urine test and the nurse told me I was pregnant,!!!!
I thought she was joking so I started to laugh. Her face was dead serious I told her it's impossible I have the coil in.
She took me to the early pregnancy assessment unit and was told me pregnancy might be ectopic but doctors where surprised that I was in no pain at all. Had an internal scan and the coil was in the wrong place! The doctor doing the scan couldn't find the foetus. He then said this may be because the pregnancy is to early or the bleeding is due to a miscarriage.
Im sooo scared it's unreal !!!
Has anyone else been though thissss???????
